Phlox paniculata ‘Blue Paradise’ 13cm Pot

The vibrant violet-blue flowers of Phlox paniculata ‘Blue Paradise’, each with a darker eye, are borne in large, domed clusters, creating an impressive display in the mixed or herbaceous border. Their colouring contrasts beautifully with shades of purple, plum and silver.

Thrives in fertile, humus-rich, moist soil in full sun or partial shade.

Support in exposed areas with bamboo canes, brushwood or ring stakes before flowering. Apply a 5–7cm (2–3in) mulch of well-rotted compost or manure in early spring. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage further flowering and reduce self-seeding.
