The ZZ plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) has glossy, upright evergreen foliage that looks good in virtually any setting and it’s one of the easiest houseplants to grow. It’s highly tolerant of a range of conditions and occasional neglect, coping well with infrequent watering and low light levels. Its resilience makes it an excellent low-maintenance choice for beginners.

Grow your ZZ plant in a warm, bright spot out of direct sunlight. Allow the compost to begin to dry out between waterings and water sparingly. Feed monthly in spring and summer.
