This mixture of Triumph Tulips will create the perfect border display in any garden. The tall, strong stems are wind resistant making them suitable for exposed locations and resilient in the bad weather. You can plant them together in a border for a strong spring display which thanks to their collective long-flowering period, will last well into May. Try planting in pots for a beautiful patio collection.
Plant tulip bulbs in late summer or autumn. Tulips will grow well in any moist, well-drained soil, except for particularly wet soils. Choose a sunny position that is sheltered from strong winds. When planting tulip bulbs avoid shallow planting as this may reduce the winter cold period that is essential for tulip bulbs to produce flowers in spring. Plant them at a depth of 6″ and at a distance of 5″ apart.
