Tulipa sylvestris Tulip Bulbs 10 Pack

Dainty and delightfully scented, this tulip is ideal for naturalising in short grass. Tulipa sylvestris is a vigorous plant that can spread by underground stolons.

First recorded in cultivation in Bologna in northern Italy in the 16th century, this delightful tulip has since become naturalised in parts of Europe, where it can be found in meadows, orchards and open, rocky ground. It thrives in full sun or light dappled shade and is tolerant of chalky soils.
