Thymus citriodorus ‘Aureus’ (Lemon Thyme) 14cm Pot

Thymus citriodorus aureus has golden foliage that also has an attractive variegation.

The foliage when touched gives a delightful lemon scent. This thyme has a bushy habit. It has pale lilac flowers in summer that are particularly attractive to bees and other pollinators.

Plant thyme in a sunny, sheltered position in the border. Alternatively grow in pots or containers. Cut back after flowering to maintain the shape of the plant.

A versatile culinary herb, it adds flavour to many dishes.
