Rosettes of ruby-red leaves are covered with very fine webbing, which looks like cobwebs. Stems bearing pink flowers appear in summer on mature rosettes which die after flowering. Flowers are a magnet for pollinating insects. Perfect for containers, sinks, troughs and scree beds.
Requires a well-drained soil in sun. Tolerates drought once established.
