Platycerium alcicorne (Staghorn Fern) 14cm Hanging Pot

A striking species of Staghorn Fern with unusual shield-shaped basal fronds and long, arching to cascading fronds. It can attain a fairly large size under optimal conditions and is well suited to mounting on a slab of bark or cork. As an epiphytic fern, it grows naturally attached to trees and other surfaces rather than rooted in soil.

Water thoroughly, then allow the growing medium or mount to dry slightly before watering again, avoiding constantly saturated conditions. It prefers bright, filtered light and benefits from high humidity.
