12.99 “Price excl. VAT: 11.44

Dainty, pink-tinted white flowers in June and small, three-lobed, mid-green leaves, golden-yellow when young. This compact, thicket-forming, deciduous shrub is ideal for illuminating a shrub border in sun or partial shade. Best grown in moist but well-drained acid soil, it tolerates most conditions except for shallow chalk.

Once established, cut back up to one in four of the oldest stems to their base, after flowering. Then, apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted garden compost around the base of the plant.
