Philodendron scandens (Sweetheart Plant) in 24cm With Moss Pole, Height 120cm

This fast-growing climber is ideal for adding a lush, tropical feel to your space. If not supported by a moss pole or trellis, its stems will gracefully cascade over the edges of the pot, eventually forming a soft green ‘curtain’. The lustrous, heart-shaped leaves grow larger as the plant matures reaching up to 30cm long and its easy-going nature makes it perfect for beginners.

Water freely during the growing season, but keep it drier in winter. Mist the leaves regularly to increase humidity and occasionally give it a cold shower to clean the foliage. It prefers bright, indirect light but will also tolerate light shade. Keep winter temperatures above 10C and repot every couple of years for best results.
