Hailing from Peru and Ecuador, this is a species of columnar cactus with flattened, almost circular pads. They flower from the terminal ends of segment pads. Flowers are vibrant orange, pink or red.
Water when the soil has thoroughly dried out – approximately once a week in the summer and once every 4 weeks in the winter
Prefers bright light, but don’t let them scorch in the summer! Ideal for a windowsill
