Nematanthus (Goldfish / Clog Plant) in 14cm Hanging Pot

Nematanthus, also known as the Goldfish or Clog Plant, is a compact, trailing houseplant with glossy green leaves and quirky, bright orange blooms that resemble tiny goldfish! Easy to care for and perfect for hanging baskets or shelves, it adds a splash of fun and colour to any indoor space.

Care tips:

• Allow the top half of the soil to dry out between waterings. It will need less water in winter.
• Goldfish plants love humidity, so they’re ideal for a steamy bathroom or busy kitchen, just keep them away from radiators or dry air sources.
• Use a well draining potting mix. Coir, perlite, and sand help avoid soggy roots. A succulent mix works well.
• Repot every couple of years if needed, they don’t mind being slightly pot-bound.
• Feed every four waterings during the growing season; reduce to every six in autumn and winter. Use a high-potash feed to encourage blooming.
• Ideal temperature range: 16-34C. Avoid letting it drop below 10C in winter.
