€3.50 “Price excl. VAT: €3.50”
For summer and overwintering
British-bred, vigorous salad onions with strong upright leaves and a supreme, non-pungent flavour. Slow to bulb, perfect for summer crops in the vegetable garden or in pots of compost on the patio.
350 Seeds
Outdoors: sow thinly, March-September, where they are to crop, 1.5cm (½”) deep, directly into finely-prepared, well-dug, fertile soil, which has already been watered. Allow 15cm (6″) between rows. Seedlings usually appear in 14-21 days. No thinning is required, but keep well watered in dry spells. Regular sowings, made every three weeks, will ensure a continuous supply through the summer. Harvest: March-October. August to September sowings will be ready the following spring.
