Miscanthus x giganteus 2 Litre Pot

A striking, clump-forming grass with sturdy stems and arching blue-green leaves up to 1m long, marked with pale midribs. It has a bamboo-like, tropical feel and produces a soft rustling sound in the breeze.

Non-invasive, it slowly forms larger clumps each year rather than spreading by runners. Excellent as a seasonal screen or border backdrop, with upright buff-brown stems providing winter interest.

Cut back in March before new growth. Best grown in moist, well-drained soil in full sun.

Height & spread: 1.5m x 50cm (1–2 years), up to 4m x 1.2m (3–4 years)
