Mentha x piperita f. citrata ‘Orange’ (Mint)

Mint brings a fresh, summery flavour to salads, sauces, summer dishes and drinks. It’s easy to grow and, being perennial, comes back every year. There are many varieties to choose from, each with a distinctive flavour. Best grown in pots in a sunny spot, it’s a good idea to grow at least a couple of mint varieties in order to add variety and interest to dishes.

Mentha piperita ‘Orange’ – The leaves of this plant are highly aromatic and have strong spicy citrus, orange scent and flavour. It is a particularly good mint for making tea.
Add the fresh leaves to fruit salads, summer drinks and light summer salads. It can also be added to potpourri. Plant in fertile, rich soil in full sun/part shade.
