Hedera helix ‘Green Ripple’ (Ivy) 13cm Pot, 30cm Trails

This fast-growing ivy can be grown as a climber if given support, or left to spread as a dense, evergreen ground cover. Its finely cut, deep green leaves provide year-round interest.

A tough, reliable plant, Hedera helix ‘Green Ripple’ needs very little maintenance once established, apart from an occasional trim to keep it in check.

Once established, ivy can provide valuable shelter for birds and other wildlife. For this reason, any pruning should ideally be done in late winter or early spring, before the nesting season. Always check the plant first, if birds are regularly returning to a spot, avoid pruning as nesting may already be underway.
