Geum ‘Scarlet Tempest’ 17cm Pot

Geums are familiar favourites in herbaceous borders, though they also perform well in larger rock gardens, forming mounds of neat, dense foliage. They benefit from a little space, as their flowers are carried on long, spreading stems.

Geum ‘Scarlet Tempest’ is a striking sterile hybrid introduced in 2016. It produces large, double scarlet flowers with an apricot flush from mid-spring, followed by a second flush from midsummer into autumn, with slightly smaller blooms.

For best results, grow it in moist but well-drained soil at the front of ornamental borders. Regular deadheading will help prolong the flowering period.
