Davallia / Humata tyermanii (Rabbit’s Foot Fern) 12cm Pot

Davallia / Humata tyermanii is an unusual tropical fern with hairy rhizomes that have given it many common names including Rabbit’s Foot Fern, Squirrel Foot Fern, Deer Foot Fern, Hare Fern, Bear’s Foot Fern. It is native to the Canary Islands where it grows epiphytically from tree branches. New fronds have a deep red colour and mature a glossy green. Humata tyermanii is quite a slow growing species and is relatively easy to care for.
