Corylus avellana ‘Scooter’ (Common Hazel) 4L Pot

29.99 “Price excl. VAT: 26.42

The stems of this compact hazel develop random twists and turns as they grow, and while the stems are bare in late winter and early spring, tassel-like catkins also form along their length. This makes it a great little addition to the winter garden, and as the stems can be cut for the vase, it also appeals to florists.

Cut out dead, diseased and damaged wood in March and apply a 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted organic matter around the base of the plant.
