Corokia cotoneaster (Wire Netting Bush)

5.99 “Price excl. VAT: 5.28

Corokia is a novel looking shrub – it looks like it lacks direction in life, with its stems intertwining and zig-zagging here and there and forming a confusing mass of stem and leaf. Corokia also produces masses of yellow star like scented blossom which can be followed by masses lots small cotoneaster like berries.

Corokia requires a sheltered spot as it is slightly tender. A spot up against a warm south facing wall is ideal. Corokia will tolerate dry sandy soils, being tolerant of dry conditions, so plant in a well drained soil with a sunny sheltered aspect. Well suited to urban planting.

  • Sun loving drought tolerant plant
  • Scented blossom
  • Ornamental winter bark / tracery
  • Suitable for container growing
  • Architectural plant – ideal as a ‘stand out’ plant
  • Tolerates full sun and sandy, drought-prone soils
