Carex oshimensis ‘Evergold’ (Japanese Sedge) 17cm Pot

Carex oshimensis ‘Evergold’ is a graceful, evergreen sedge with arching, golden-yellow leaves edged in deep green. It forms a neat, clump-forming habit and does not spread aggressively.

Ideal for container displays as a soft contrast to brightly coloured flowers, it also performs well at pond margins or towards the front of shaded borders.

Grow Carex oshimensis ‘Evergold’ in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in partial shade. In winter, comb through the plant to remove any dead or tired foliage.
