Abelia ‘Mystic Daydream’ is an upright, bushy, semi-evergreen to evergreen shrub bearing ovate, glossy, shallowly toothed, dark green leaves turning maroon in autumn. Panicles of lightly fragrant, funnel-shaped, white flowers bloom from late summer into autumn. Plant in autumn or spring in moist but well-drained soil, in a sheltered, sunny site. Best planted against a wall or in a full bed where neighbouring shrubs provide shelter.
‘Mystic Daydream’ will reach a height of 1.2m and a spread of 0.75m after 5-10 years.
