Dracaena Fragrans (Also known as Corn Plant)
What's great about growing a corn plant as well as how attractive they look, is they're fairly easy to care for and maintain - like many other dracaena plants.
Light: They do best in light shade or gentle filtered sunlight. The leaves will scorch if too bright.
Watering: Keep the soil slightly damp to the touch and in the winter slightly dry. These plants benefit from a little "drying time" between waterings. So water well and then wait for the top inch of the soil to dry out before watering again.
Humidity: Required to prevent blemishes on its leaves. Misting is a good way to achieve this as well as helping to keep the leaves dust free.
Temperature: 15°C - 24°C are ideal. Under 12°C is going to harm the plant which may become noticeable if the leaves begin curling. Try and avoid the plant being near cold drafts, which will also cause harm.
Regular feeding in Spring and Summer is recommended. You don't need to feed in Winter or feed newly repotted plants.
